How Does Clear Correct Work?
Custom created clear aligner trays apply pressure to the teeth, gradually causing the teeth, muscles, and bone to conform to new positions.
The first step in the process is a digital scan by our orthodontist. This information is sent to the ClearCorrect lab to create a series of aligner trays.
The trays are replaced every few weeks for the next aligner in the series. You may experience a little pressure or discomfort with each new tray, but that will disappear within a day or two as your teeth adjust to the new aligner.
Treatment continues until your teeth have reached their optimum positions. You can smile with the full confidence that comes from having a straight, healthy smile.
How Long Does It Take?
Treatment time with ClearCorrect depends on the severity of your case, but on average this is usually 6 months to one year.
Following a consultation with one of our orthodontists we endeavour to give you a realistic treatment plan based on your particular problems.
We advise you to wear the aligners for around 22 hours per day, every day, in order for the ClearCorrect aligners to achieve the best results possible.
