Dr Vishal Patel

Implant Surgeon

Qualifications: MSc Dental Implantology (University of Bristol)

Vishal is a highly respected implant dentist with a particular focus on the latest developments in modern implantology. He holds a Master's degree in Dental Implantology from the University of Bristol and regularly attends advanced training courses to stay at the forefront of the field. With extensive experience in complex restorative work, he offers treatments such as All-on-4 and Same-Day Teeth, giving patients life-changing results in a single visit. He is genuinely passionate about his work and committed to delivering the highest quality of care for every patient.

Dr Pola Reza

Cosmetic Dentist

Pola is our lead cosmetic dentist, known for natural-looking smile makeovers built around Invisalign, composite bonding and porcelain veneers. He takes a considered, minimally invasive approach, taking the time to understand what each patient wants before recommending any treatment. A firm believer that a healthy smile is part of a balanced life, he also makes time for his own fitness and wellbeing. Outside the practice, Pola has a real sense of adventure and loves exploring new places and making memories with his family.

Dr Rajiv Sheth

Dentist

Qualifications: BDS (Hons), MJDF RCS Eng, PG Dip (Aesth)

Rajiv is a North London-raised dentist who graduated from King's College London. Known for his gentle approach, he provides expert care in cosmetic, general and periodontal dentistry. He holds a Diploma in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry (with distinction) and certifications in dental implants, advanced gum treatments and Invisalign. Passionate about continuous learning, Rajiv stays at the forefront of dental technology. Outside of work, he enjoys wildlife, diving, skiing and spending time with his young family.

Dr Anuj Desai

Dentist

Qualifications: BDS (Cardiff), MJDF RCS (Eng), PG Cert Ortho

Dr Desai qualified from Cardiff University in 2014 and earned Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties with the Royal College of Surgeons. With over a decade of experience across Essex and London, he has a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, as well as facial aesthetics. He holds a postgraduate certificate in orthodontics, is certified in Invisalign and fixed braces, and is currently completing advanced training at the prestigious Kois Centre in Seattle. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, supporting West Ham United and spending time with his young family.

Dr Jake

Dr Jake has a passion for high-level cosmetic dentistry. He enjoys working on smile makeovers, especially using veneers in a minimal way to enhance your smile, and focuses on making sure you are comfortable every step of the way. He has a high attention to detail and aims not just for a great-looking result but one that lasts for years to come. Dr Jake qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2014 and holds a master's degree in Endodontics, which he completed with distinction. Outside the practice, he has just started a family, and enjoys travelling, skiing and all aspects of health and fitness.

Dr Annika Patel

Orthodontist

Qualifications: BDS (London), MJDF RCS (Eng), MSc (London), MOrth RCS (Edin)

Dr Patel holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a Master's in Orthodontics from King's College London. She trained in Maxillofacial Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry before completing her specialist orthodontic training at Guy's and Queen Victoria Hospital. Her experience includes complex child and adult cases, including Obstructive Sleep Apnoea. An expert in lingual orthodontics, she is a key provider of the Incognito system and accredited in Invisalign, WIN and Forestadent 2D. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, squash, painting and exploring art and exhibitions.

Dr Kiren Patel

Specialist Endodontist

Qualifications: BDS (Hons) (KCL), MFDS RCS (Edin), MClinDent Endodontology (Distinction, KCL), MEndo RCS (Edin)

Kiren graduated with Honours from King's College London in 2014 and gained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery in 2016. She has worked in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Northampton General Hospital and in the Restorative Dentistry department at Bristol Dental Hospital, treating complex endodontic and restorative cases. She completed her four-year specialist training in Endodontology at King's College London with distinction. Kiren is passionate about delivering high-quality root canal treatment in a calm, reassuring environment. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys reading, cooking and staying active.

Misha Bhatt

Misha graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2018 with a BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She has since gained valuable experience in both NHS and private practices. Known for her gentle approach, Misha excels in caring for anxious patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and looked after during their visits. She believes in a personalised approach to oral health, with a passion for preventing oral disease and improving her patients' overall oral health. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, playing Padel and cooking for friends and family.

Gabriela Goncearuc-Lupu

Dental Hygienist / Therapist

Gabriela has been working in dentistry since 2018. Originally from Moldova, where she qualified as a Dentist, she is now based in the UK and registered as a Dental Therapist, Hygienist and Aesthetic Practitioner. With a strong foundation in dentistry and a genuine passion for oral health education, she is dedicated to empowering patients through preventive care and tailored treatments. She is recognised for her attention to detail and patient-centred approach. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys fitness, especially going to the gym, and cherishes quality time spent with her family.

Kiran Chowdhury

Dental Therapist

Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Dental Therapy and Hygiene

Kiran is a dedicated dental hygiene therapist who qualified from King's College London. Driven by a passion for preventive care, she takes a tailored approach to dental hygiene treatments, with a focus on a comfortable experience and on preventing oral health issues such as periodontitis. She places great importance on oral hygiene education so patients can understand and maintain their own oral health. As a qualified dental therapist, her skill set extends beyond hygiene to restorative treatments for both adults and children. Outside the clinic, she enjoys travelling, spa days, going to the gym and spending quality time with her family.

Taylor Hardy

Head Nurse

Taylor is a qualified dental nurse with over eight years of experience. She has worked in both NHS and private practices and has gained hands-on experience across a range of areas including orthodontics, dental implants and endodontic treatments. She loves being part of a team that helps people feel more confident about their smiles, and whether she is assisting during a complex procedure or helping a nervous patient feel at ease, she aims to make every visit as relaxed and positive as possible. Away from work, Taylor likes catching up with friends over good food, going to the gym and finding inspiration through travelling.

Lisa Coyle

Dental Nurse

Lisa has been an integral part of our team for the last 18 years, and a dental nurse for over 30 years. She loves working as a dental nurse and is always keen to learn and better herself, having attended many dental courses over her career and always applying what she has learnt. She has three daughters who keep her busy outside of work, and she enjoys visits to the theatre, attending concerts and holidays with her family.

Melika Grogan

Practice Manager

Qualifications: BDN

Melika is our Practice Manager and the person who keeps everything running smoothly day to day. With a background in dental nursing, she understands both the clinical and the patient side of practice life, and she is committed to making sure every visit is well organised and welcoming. She leads our reception and support team and is always happy to help with appointments, treatment plans and any questions you might have.

Stacey Blow

Receptionist

Stacey has been a receptionist at Hacton Dental Care for 16 years and is often the first point of contact when you visit the practice. She has a caring and helpful manner and always does whatever she can to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable. In her spare time, Stacey likes to travel, enjoys eating out and goes to the gym to keep a healthy balance between work and wellness.

Kelly Bailey

Receptionist

Kelly joined the Hacton Dental Care team as a receptionist in June 2021. With over 20 years of experience in dentistry, she worked in a busy NHS practice as a dental nurse, receptionist and finally practice manager before leaving to start her family. She later spent time at Queen's Hospital in Romford as a secretary and administration assistant across various departments. Kelly is enjoying being back in the world of dentistry and learning about the more complex treatments that Hacton Dental Care offers.
