From booking to walking out.

01

Booking and pre-arrival

Book online or call us on 01708 447 603. We send a medical history form for you to complete in advance, plus arrival details and parking information.

02

Reception and registration

Arrive 5 minutes early so we can complete the registration paperwork. Reception will offer you a coffee or water and run through the visit ahead.

03

Meeting your dentist

Your dentist takes you to the surgery, sits down with you, runs through your medical history and listens to any specific concerns or anxieties you have.

04

Clinical examination

A thorough check of every tooth, your gums, your bite and your soft tissues. Includes oral cancer screening and 2 small intraoral x-rays.

05

Photographs and scans (where appropriate)

Intraoral photographs of any concerns we want to monitor, and a 3D digital scan if it'll help with planning treatment.

06

Discussion and written estimate

We sit down again and walk you through what we found, what we recommend, what's optional and what each option costs. You leave with a written record.

07

Booking next steps (if you want to)

If we recommend treatment, you can book it before you leave or take the written estimate home and decide in your own time. Nothing is committed to in the chair.

Usually not - your first visit is an examination and consultation, with any recommended treatment booked in for follow-up appointments after you've reviewed the written estimate.

What if I'm nervous about the appointment?

Please tell us when you book - we can plan your first visit as a no-clinical conversation so you can meet the team and decide on next steps without any pressure.
