A chipped front tooth often looks worse than it is and can usually be fixed in a single appointment. A more severely broken tooth needs prompter attention. We offer same-day emergency appointments where possible.

The most common kind. Usually fixed in a single 30 to 60 minute appointment with composite bonding (no drilling, no anaesthetic). From £250 per tooth.
A larger break may need composite bonding, a porcelain veneer for a longer-lasting fix or a crown if a significant part of the tooth is missing.
Often felt as sharp pain when biting on something specific. Usually treated with a crown, which protects the tooth and restores the chewing surface.
A more significant break may need root canal followed by a crown, or in some cases extraction and replacement (implant or bridge). Needs prompt attention.
A genuine emergency. If it's an adult tooth, rinse it in milk (not water), try to place it back into the socket, and call us within an hour if possible.
The break may have exposed the nerve or caused infection. Needs urgent assessment - call us straight away.

Book nowYes - most small chips can be repaired with composite bonding in a single 30 to 60 minute appointment.
Composite bonding is from £250 per tooth, a porcelain veneer from £850, a crown from £850 - we'll quote your specific case at consultation.
A small cosmetic chip is not usually an emergency but should be seen within a few weeks; a larger break with pain or sharp edges should be seen the same day.
A small cosmetic chip without pain can sometimes be left alone, but most chips are best repaired before food and bacteria get into the rough surface and cause decay.
No - never use household glue on teeth. Save fragments in milk and call us, and we'll bond the tooth properly with the right dental adhesive.
Rinse the tooth in milk (not water), try to place it back into the socket, hold it there with a clean cloth, and call us within an hour - the sooner the better.
